Do 100% to ensure 50%

We all act to create outcomes we desire.

Statistics and Information Science has given us many tools and techniques to measure and predict the probability of successful outcomes, given our actions.

And yet, we find many outcomes in the world that defy such calculations and predictions.

The reason for this is that Life, as we observe it in our every day, does not play the probabilistic games that we have created. It runs on its own "mysterious" ways.

So, the fact is, that no matter what they tell you, the best you can ensure of an outcome is 50%. And that if you have put in 100% of your efforts in actions.

And this is a good thing.
